Scarves and wraps of silk, linen and merino/silk fibres are perfect for layering at any time of the year and light enough for summer use.
Natural fibres are dyed using foraged foliage, garden prunings and windfall leaves gathered on walks through the local bush, along the coast and from my garden. Plant materials vary according to the season, garden prunings and windfall material foraged. Dye is extracted from the leaves during the cooking process to create colour. If leaves are included in the fabric bundle, leaf prints are formed. Botanical dyeing and printing is a natural process and does not involve the use of synthetic chemicals.
