Kiwi lost in the bush looking for friends
Kiwi and friends playing in the bush following shadows. Machine pieced scraps and offcuts from larger projects to form blocks which have been joined with a black and white band of pathways.

Fuchsia on the library steps
Quilt layout is based on the 'courthouse steps' pattern. Traditionally a red centre square is used, replaced here with fuchsia. Started in 1984, the blue/brown fabric prints reflect the period.

Resting on roses under the eucalypt
The quilt has a simple repeating pattern using prints with a different scale and similar colour complexity - he fabric with the skull and roses being the key.

Tula Pink visits West Auckland
Using selected patterns from '100 Modern Quilt Blocks' by Tula Pink, tiny leftover pieces of fabric were sewn into blocks. Scraps, scraps, scraps, the smaller the better, square, recctangle and cross patterns only.
